SIU Alumni, parents and community members may be asking, “How can I help Dawg Days?” We're so glad you asked! There are 4 major ways your gifts can make an impact on the Class of 2022!
A freshmen scholarship endowment can ensure that freshmen in need will be able to attend camp for years to come. Salukis in need will greatly appreciate your generous donation, as these funds send freshmen to camp who otherwise could not afford to attend. Make a lasting gift to the Saluki Family by becoming a perpetual donor!
Making Dawg Days happen is a huge undertaking. Large equipment and supplies must be replaced regularly, due to wear and tear. Your gifts here make a small difference in the lives of all new Salukis coming to camp, as these funds help decrease the overall cost of running Dawg Days.
In Kind Gifts
Does your company or organization have items or services that Dawg Days uses such as catering, screen printing, or athletic equipment (this is NOT an exhaustive list)?
Please email the Director, JD Tanner to discuss your ideas and find a way to make your gifts make a difference for Dawg Days!
In addition to in kind donations, companies and organizations can give a monetary gift to Dawg Days that will provide them various levels of recognition based on the gift amount, such as logos on our T-shirt and on our website.
Please email the Director, JD Tanner to give and discuss ways we can help promote your business through Dawg Days!
Why Your Gift Matters
Dawg Days is offered at the lowest price possible so that incoming freshmen can enjoy the experience of a lifetime. In order to keep that price lower and lower we need your help through donations and sponsoships.
In addition, Dawg Days is planned and executed by student volunteers. These volunteers donate a large portion of their time to try and ease the transition of incoming Salukis, it’s a Family Thing. Please help support the selfless-service of these Salukis. If you have other ideas on how to give or would like to talk about planned giving from your estate, please email the Director, JD Tanner.
