SIU Alumni, parents and community members may be asking, “How can I help Dawg Days?” We're so glad you asked! There are 4 major ways your gifts can make an impact for future Salukis!
Your Gift Matters
Dawg Days is offered at the lowest price possible so that incoming new freshmen and transfer students can enjoy the experience of a lifetime. Dawg Days is planned and executed by student volunteers that donate a large portion of their time to try and ease the transition of incoming Salukis. Please help support the selfless-service of these Salukis.
Does your company or organization have items or services that Dawg Days uses such as catering, screen printing or athletic equipment?
Please email Touch of Nature at ton@siu.edu to discuss your ideas and find a way to make your gifts make a difference for Dawg Days!
Sponsorships
In addition to in-kind donations, companies and organizations can give a monetary gift to Dawg Days that will provide them various levels of recognition based on the gift amount, such as logos on our T-shirt and on our website.
Please email Touch of Nature at ton@siu.edu to discuss ways we can help promote your business through Dawg Days!
Scholarships
A scholarship endowment can ensure that freshmen in need will be able to attend our retreat for years to come. Salukis in need will greatly appreciate your generous donation, as these funds send freshmen to camp whom, otherwise could not afford to attend. Make a lasting gift to the Saluki Family by becoming a perpetual donor!
Please email Touch of Nature at ton@siu.edu to discuss how you can help.
Camp Operations
Making Dawg Days happen is a huge undertaking. Large equipment and supplies must be replaced regularly, due to wear and tear. Your gifts here make a small difference in the lives of all new Salukis coming to camp, as these funds help decrease the overall cost of running Dawg Days.
